Here’s how to convert them with the perfect abandonment flow:
For the sake of your bottom line, please stop sending Shopify’s default abandoned cart emails.
If you want results, put in some upfront effort, and let your flows earn you revenue on autopilot.

You’re going to need 4 different flows for each stage of abandonment:
Abandoned checkout
Abandoned add-to-cart
Browse Abandonment
Site abandonment
Segmenting your buyers into these buckets allows for more personalization.
(There are more but let’s focus on these for now)
Now, it’s time to structure each flow.
Your 1st email is a gentle reminder.
Your 2nd email is about what makes your products special.
Your 3rd email is a discount to push them over the edge.
Your 4th and final email should be a last-chance email with some urgency.
Feel free to A/B test and experiment from there.
Every email list is different – test every relevant variable you can.

From $15.8k to $34.2k in sales from the first email.

This is very possible for most brands.
Try to incorporate social proof in your flows as well.
Trust might be what’s preventing your prospects from buying.
Particularly for your first-time buyers' segment.
When testing, you’ll need to track:
Open rates
Click rates
Placed order rate (Most important!)
Raising these 3 metrics is priority number one, each impacts the next.
