From 0 to 27,000 subscribers

The hack I used for list growth in just 3 months.

A few months ago a client reached out to me.

Losing tens of thousands a week on their online store.

They were desperate to increase sales.

The only problem:

They came to me with 0 email subscribers.

They wanted a big list, to sell their camping products to.

We talked, and ran a giveaway, one of the best ways to collect emails and get buyers.

Within 3 months, we collected 27,000 emails by running paid ads.

An uplift of $381,083.35 across Q4 when typically that’s one of their slowest quarters.

Altogether they made $1.4 million in total store sales.

And here’s exactly how we did it.

$1.4m overall store sales and $113k in email sales

First of all we used an app called Giveaway Ninja. Which made the whole thing possible.

I reached out to their founder Andrea to see if they would cover the costs of today’s newsletter and he said yes.

So here’s my genuine take on them.

We used Giveaway Ninja to collect emails and gamify list growth.

This allowed us to get thousands of signups a week and lots of sales.

We then used those emails for automations, and they sold for us automatically.

This led to a huge increase in placed orders, higher AOV and LTV for the brand.

So if you’re planning your store’s strategy for Q2 to Q4 this year.

Try running a Giveaway with an email strategy behind that.

ROI has been solid for our clients, and customers get to have a fun experience while they buy.

Tap above to check them out.

Our strategy was surprisingly simple.

Meta Ads → Product Landing Page → Giveaway Collect Emails → Email 10 day sequence

We then spent 10 days telling them how amazing our products are.

And every time they purchased, they got entries to the giveaway.

Our goal wasn’t to find freebie seekers, but buyers who also want to win.

The benefits were:
→ More clicks
→ More purchases
→ More subscribers to the list
→ Lower ROAS and higher LTV per customer

In 2025 you have to get creative, and that will separate you from the competition.

Keep Building,
